David Price was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1982. He studied art at Chelsea College of Art, London, and Manchester Metropolitan University, and teaches at The CASS (London Metropolitan University). His work is concerned with the representation of language, and the representations and histories buried within words. He has an occasional collaborative practice with the American artist Andy Roche. His PhD dissertation was on the presence and possibility of art in works of fiction; a relationship that his art practice attempts to tease apart in reverse.
