Like previous projects \u003cem\u003eGrabeland\u003c/em\u003e was supposed to become a series of multi-media-installations, and in 2011 eteam developed the first iteration \u0026ldquo;When the dancing gets too stiff, the rain needs to get dug out as ice-cubes\u0026rdquo; a show at\u0026nbsp;\u003ca href=\"https://www.m29.info/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eM29\u003c/a\u003e\u0026nbsp;in Cologne, Germany, which included a synchronized 5-channel video installation, a floor sculpture, several computer collages, a set of code calligraphy exercise books and computer drawings that utilized research materials and documentation from the early stages of the project. The remaining material needed other forms to actualize its content. This intriguing issue, found by the artists through their initial online research, is in fact very much along the lines of\u0026nbsp;\u003cem\u003eeteam\u003c/em\u003e\u0026rsquo;s constant interest in disappearance, (in)visibility, land and its numerous uses in public and private contexts. In this project, the topics of disguise, appearance, absence and surveillance were further researched through\u0026nbsp;\u003cem\u003eeteam\u003c/em\u003e\u0026rsquo;s travel through Croatia and finally implemented through the exhibition featuring the video\u0026nbsp;\u003cem\u003eWaypoint, Follow, Orbit, Focus, Pano, Track\u003c/em\u003e, several paper m\u0026acirc;ch\u0026eacute; sculptures, a photograph and a novel\u0026nbsp;\u003cem\u003eThe Case of Distance Disengaged\u003c/em\u003e. The visited locations, extensively presented in the book form as well as captured in the video, included a factory that makes military uniforms, then Liberland (a territory of the self- proclaimed nation on a small terrain between Croatian and Serbian border, which appears and disappears depending on the water levels of Danube river) and small Croatian islands \u0026ndash;\u0026nbsp;pieces of land that occasionally (dis)appear due to high tides of the sea.
