The Pepto Bismo by Panamarenko is also called differently. Panamarenko also uses the term 'Japanese Pack'. He refers here to the powerful and nickel cadmium batteries that are made in Japan.
'I had heard this expression in Woody Allen's film 'Sleeper'. At a certain moment, he gets angry and yells: 'Oh! Those cheap Japanese packs!' And because the Pepto Bismo had a box at the back full of Japanese batteries, I called it a Japanese Pack. Back then, they were the best batteries you could find anywhere...' - Panamarenko
