"The piece I just did in Venice is called Homage to Robert Filliou. I do think that in my artwork, I’m really talking with Robert Filliou’s artwork—when it’s that kind of an artwork. So I don’t start out making a piece thinking, “I’m going to make Homage to Robert Filliou.” Only, I make the piece and say, “Look, this is so much like Filliou.” It’s not so much like Filliou, and it is all the same...
