Literary synopsis
A preface introducing the reader to the moment when he/she will have finished the book. A postface calling back to memory the expectations of the reader as he/she opened the book. A face to face interview with Italian linguist-anthropologist Maurizio Gnerre about a ceremonial visiting dialogue among Jivaro Indians, during which visitor and host would stare at each other and speak at the same time.
